Check 1… 1-2…” – DiGiCo Launches its First Flypack Mixer, the Quantum112
Weighing only 23kg/50lbs when housed in a custom Peli case, DiGiCo’s newest and smallest desk brings Quantum Range features and performance to productions anywhere.
Mix anywhere.
Designed to fit within a rugged and robust Pelican™ Air 1637 case, the console, when packed, weighs only 23 kilograms – a perfect 50 pounds – qualifying it as a standard checked bag option on most flights. But despite its ultra-compact form factor, the Quantum112 is still a giant on features and functionality, every bit a Quantum in terms of its pedigree.
Based on the newest seventh-generation FPGAs, DiGiCo’s latest product offers 80 input channels with 24 aux/subgroup busses, LR/LCR master busses, and a 12×8 matrix, all with full channel processing. 12 control groups plus two solos are also available.
Sporting a 17-inch, 1000-nit, high-brightness multitouch screen with both a meterbridge and soft quick select buttons for speedy and intuitive operation, the Quantum112 is additionally equipped with 18 individual TFT channel displays to provide clear user feedback and interaction. Beneath the main display are a dozen newly-sourced 100mm touch-sensitive faders, selected for their smooth movement and precision control.
The DiGiCo Quantum112 naturally incorporates now-familiar Quantum Range features like Mustard Processing channel strips (20), Spice Rack plugin-style native FPGA processing options (6), and Nodal Processing (24). 12 graphic EQs are further available, as are eight FX Rack slots.
I/O
The rear panel has built-in 64×64 Primary and Secondary Dante Ports on Ethercon connectors. 16 Mic/Line inputs and 8 line outputs, both of which utilise ‘Stadius’ 32-bit pre-amps and DACs. It shall also have 1 AES/EBU input (2 channels) and 1AES/EBU outputs (2 channels), 4 sets of MADI I/O, giving up to 4 MADI interfaces or up to 2 redundant MADI interfaces at 48kHz or 2 interfaces at 96kHz, 2 DMI slots and inbuilt UB MADI (USB Type B audio I/O interface for recording and playback of up to 32 channels).
Local I/O:
Stadius 32-bit local I/O Sample Rate: 48kHz or 96kHz, Processing Delay: 0.5ms Typical (Mic in to Line out, no channel Processing), Internal Processing: Up to 40-bit, Floating Point, A>D & D>A: 32-bit Converter Bit Depth, Frequency Response: +/- 0.2dB (20Hz – 20kHz), THD+N (Mic In to AES Out): <0.002% @ 1kHz, 0dB gain, -10dBFS out, 22Hz-20kHz, THD+N (AES In to Line Out): <0.002% @ 1kHz, +16dBu out, 22Hz-20kHz, Channel Separation/Crosstalk (Mic In to Line Out): >100dB @ 10kHz, Residual Output Noise: <93dBu Typical (20Hz – 20kHz), Equivalent Input Noise (EIN): <-127.5dBu A-weighted, 22Hz – 20kHz, Maximum Output Level: +22dBu, Maximum Input Level: +22dBu

The new age of DiGiCo racks.
The DQ-Rack provides all of the power of our larger racks, but in a more compact unit, and harnessing the flexibility of Audinate’s Dante protocol.
The compact 6U rack sports 48 mic inputs and up to 24 line outputs. Clever audio design allows the last 4 outputs to be switched between line outputs and stereo AES/EBU outputs, adding up to a maximum of 8 AES/EBU output channels.
Making use of Dante means that existing infrastructure can be used for flexible and familiar installation. Plus, connection to a DiGiCo console via the DMI-DANTE64@96 means all inputs and outputs on the racks can be accessed at both 48kHz and 96kHz.
To ensure ultimate reliability the DQ-Rack is equipped with dual redundant power supplies as standard.
